Hi all,

We are new to forum as well. We are me, John (35), wife Dawn (36) and daughter Emily (2). Dawn and I both have fond memories of camping as we grew up. When I was a kid it was usually TT camping both in Alberta and later in Germany. In the early 80s we had a slide-in on an anemic 50-hp Datsun diesel pickup in BC - I usually ended up sleeping in the tent with the dog. After that was sold the family camping trips just stopped.

Dawn's family were tenters until recently when they bought a 24' Rockwood TT. Dawn and I together were both avid tent campers for several years until we just got tired of sleeping on the ground. Now we have a new Fleetwood Sun Valley and are looking forward to taking little Emily on her very first camping trip. Even my folks have expressed interest in coming camping again now that the beds are elevated and level!

We are going to Sandbanks Provincial Park near Kingston, Ontario this weekend. I might even try swimming!

Regards,

John.
