A question for F/Ts.........

Hi everyone!
I'd like to inquire all F/T ........How do you deal when you have to look for a dentist in the middle of your trip?I do have my annual check but I need a dentist NOW(not an emergency).So do I go by word of mouth,to the chamber of commerce or what will you suggest by your experience?Many thanks.......araucano.

If you have dental insurance, call your provider for a referral in the area you are located. We do not have dental insurance, so if we are in an area where we don't know anyone, we'll usually stop at the campground office to ask for opinions. If you're not at a campground then the best ya might do is to ask folks who live and work in the area. Otherwise, use the yellow pages phone directory. Steve & Lynette

My dentist is well known in his field, and knows a lot of dentists.
He knows that we travel and has told me to call him when it is time for my 6 month check up and he will see if he can find a dentist in the area that we are in at the time.
You might want to ask your dentist if he knows of any one.
