Murf2u - I believe the prevailing winds across Florida come from the east. I remember watching the weather and thinking it was odd.

Well son-of-a-gun you're right!!

The winds in Tampa though do reverse it seems most afternoons / evenings and become on-shore winds.

Guess I'm just not a morning person.

Francesca, that's a neat tool, but only shows the current winds.

I know- but isn't it cool to look at?

I just wish they're superimpose it on a topo map and put more place names in...I get lost when I zoom in.

But if one's familiar with the terrain in a general area, the mountains etc. are easy to pick out...fun!

For 10 years I had debiltating hives with angioedema (when lips, eyelids, etc swell to massive proportions). I finally started allergy treatments using a then new technique called "rapid desensitation" where I camped out in the allergists office for a day and got shots at scheduled intervals. Then I got allergy shots monthly for 2 years.

I haven't had hives in over 7 years now. It saved my sanity and I went from taking 8 allergy pills a day to none.
