When I mentioned I would love to go full-time, family said "Go for it!"

Ours was a quick solution to a temporary situation but still an adventure. We are both now in the same state and 8 hours closer to one another.

The opinions of others?

I take my advice from THE Doctor.................

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss

Actually, the reception to the RV lifestyle is almost always positive. What usually raises eyebrows is the fact that in my late sixties, I still ride motorcycles. My stock answer is that I intend to stop riding "When I get old enough to take up golf".

Some definitely don't understand.

I've had people tell me they feel sorry for me.

The first person who said they felt sorry for me was a receptionist at a drs office in Ft Myers. At the time we were staying at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort and our Newmar King Aire was brand new. i just laughed.

Fulltiming is running away WITH your home. I think of all the times I wanted to run away "from" home and chuckle. This is such a better choice.

I'm also the house guest welcome at all my friend's houses -- provided their driveway is long and level enough. Even my SIL doesn't mind me staying 4-5 months every summer.

We pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and some won't get it and some want to get it. We have no children, we have no brothers or sisters! This is perfect for us (we hope).
