Anyone else fulltiming in a Thor ACE?

We've been fulltiming for 6 months now in our ACE29.1. We decided on a short bus since we plan to visit a lot of National & State park campgrounds, many of which have length limits. I was apprehensive at first about whether there would be enough space, both living and storage. So far it is working out very well. Just two of us with no pets. The only real problem so far is that the mattress on the queen bed is worn out already, a deep trench has formed on each side. Looking at the tags suggests it is a very cheap entry level foam pad. We have ordered a Eurotop Innerspring mattress from Camping World, and will be picking it up next week. I've read that motorhomes, especially entry level models, are not really designed or intended for fulltiming, so probably no point in trying a warranty claim.

Anyone else FT in an ACE with experiences to share?

I was thinking about that rig for us for the very reasons you mentioned. Even the used ones (demos, I guess) are out of our price range though. Congrats, I think that's a neat idea and I'm curious how it's working out for you and others.

We are considering fulltiming, too, and looking for a small rv. How is the ride/drivability on the ACE? Can it be used in cold weather? We had a Minnie Winnebago 22' and found the drive extremely tiring and have been told we might find a class c on an a chassis better.

8,500 miles so far and no complaints about the ride. Plenty of power too, since this is one of the smallest Class A's built on the F53 chassis. We've used it in 20 degree weather with no problems. The basement holding tanks and water pump are heated by a vent from the furnace.
