This only took about three weeks. I'm trying to do what I can without hiring an attorney. I'm learning a lot though it's not making me any money.

By the way, virtual offices are not an acceptable address to open business bank accounts. Really upset about their advertisement.
Please post your solution. It would help others.

I'll wait until it's final before I post anything and then it may be through PM. I know you suggested not to post this on the forum and to seek legal advice. You never know if someone is with big brother wanting to make a name for themselves. I've been upfront with all banks.

Got the same question, or maybe someone knows sites that offer the online signup process?

I was hoping someone would have ideas. I don't have any family in my domicile state.
We didn't have any family when we became FL residents. However, due to the huge migration south a life-long family friend moved to within an hour of our leased lot down here, so we have used her address for years. Works great for us.

If you form an LLC or corporation, use your Registered Agent's address for the account ownership and then have the bank use a more convenient (for you) address for mail.

Sometimes the only thing that matters to the bank is that there is some "real" physical address on the file but all correspondence actually goes to the designated mailing address and/or phone number.

If you have a child with an address that could be used, you might want to inquire about that approach. Financial institutions need to comply with the Know Your Customer law but that doesn't mean they have to be unreasonable about it.

My registered agent would not let me use their address to open a business bank account. You may want to try a small credit union and see if they're a little bit flexible.

I believe PayPal offers banking services now.

Hi, we also use an LLC with a registered agent. 5th wheel and truck registered to it. Question... Insurance for them, had a small claim...they made the check out to the LLC. We currently don't have a business banking account. Can that be opened anywhere?
