Climate graph of the country?

Me thinks predicting the weather for any particular location is about as accurate as predicting what the stock market will do. Flip a coin.

No graph needed, just common sense.

Alaska between early May through mid September.

Florida or Southern parts of CA, AZ, from early November through the end of March.

All other times, somewhere in between while traveling.

If it's too hot drive north. If it's too cold drive south.

As previously mentioned, up and down (elevation) also works.

This past weekend, temps were forecast to be near 100 degrees near Albuquerque (5000' MSL). Friday afternoon, I drove about 80 miles to get into the mountains and up to 8000' MSL. Temps there were very comfortable. Mountain biked to 9500' MSL where it was almost chilly.

I like the concept of circum-navigating the country (add in Canada) every year! I don't know that we would actually do it every year, but I like the concept. Maybe we can do it at least one year.
