And we're here on day 2 going to watch the sunset in a few hours. Things are going really well so far and the weather is great in San Diego.

We're staying in Oceanside harbor at the moment They have great prices, but only allow you to stay for 5 days a month. We're a few feet from the sand looking to the pacific, and with the wind today, we've seen lots of sailboats taxiing in and out of the harbor.

We'll be heading to Fort Lauderdale in a day or two to see family and friends.

And met a couple that told us to stop somewhere in La. for mardi gras parade since the timing is right. So who knows.

Hope everything stays this nice.

Cheers!

Congratulations on your new lifestyle. Sounds like you're off to a great start.

Save some of those sunsets for when we can hit the road full time.

Check out Lafayette LA for Mardi Gras parades, food, and fun. Smaller town atmosphere. Not wild and crazy like N. O.

Wave when you drive through San Antonio.

Oceanside harbor in Oceanside California is north San Diego. Just south of Orange county/Camp Pendleton (marine base).

5 days is the max per month allowable stay here And costs $75. I'll be putting up some photos and info of here when I get a chance.

And good morning to everyone as we awake on day 3. These days are moving along quickly.

29 & living the dream. I envy you. I always wanted to live in a small town. Didn't realize my career path would keep me in large cities until I was embedded in it with the start of a family.

Once you get inland have your rig washed. The salt ocean air corrodes very bad. Wash it off.
Ain't life grand when you do not have to work and can just enjoy life ?
