Exercise

You all have probably answered this question a thousand times BUT here it is again. I probably have the whole cardio this well in hand walking the three dogs multiple times a day but what about strength training. Now that Im on the other side of 50 it takes real work keeping my girlish figure, Im not into doing a triathalon or anything but I would like to at least try and stay in shape. Weights are out of the question so I would love to hear what some of you do to keep the muscles from turning into jelly.

Since we like to keep things as lite as possible we use resistance bands. They come in various strength ranges and they give you a great workout.

Resistance bands are great. We also do a ton of body weight exercises...push-ups, body dips etc. if I'm walking out in nature I'll often take it one step further and make it fun by picking up rocks or pieces of wood and doing on-the-go resistance exercises with those.
