FT: what do you miss most? Least?

Fulltimers:

If you had to name ONE thing you miss most about having a S&B, what would it be?

What ONE thing do you miss LEAST?

Miss the most: more than six gallons of hot water

Miss the least: taking care of a yard

We FTd for 7 yrs and then life curve ball so we are back in a S&B

Didn't miss anything about S&B....LOVED FT

NOW........
Miss the freedom of just GOING
When we wanted to, Where we wanted to

But as with any life change we are enjoying being back in a S&B
I have a yard that is finally looking really good (place sat unattended for 1 yr while family decided what to do....AZ heat). Lawn has recovered, lost couple of trees but able to save the others plus planted 4 new ones that are growing nicely.
And have a garage to do projects in...wood and metal

PLUS neighbors are great. Good country folks that are the kind you enjoy being around.

So curve ball got whacked out of the park!

But sure miss the freedom/traveling

I miss our bathroom (larger than our RV) with a Jacuzzi for two, a separate HUGE walk in shower with seating, long counter with two sinks and built in seating area, plus a 15'x5' walk in closet. We bought the house because I feel in love with that bathroom. But I wouldn't trade the past 11 years of being out on the road with my best friend for that bathroom.

We had 41 acres in the Pocono mountains of PA for 40 years.

Don't miss plowing the snow on our 3/4 mile long driveway.

We had an indoor swimming pool that was 88Deg in a room with 50% humidity, year round. I miss getting out of bed every morning and swimming a 1/4 to 1/2 mile, especially when it was snowing outside.

I miss having farm stuff: animals and really good home grown fruits & veggies.

Don't miss lawn & yard work: mowing & leaf raking & snow shoveling etc.

So can you add one of the in-line instant heaters?

When the current WH dies, I'll look into them, but for now I have a six gallon WH. I've learned to live with it pretty well. It's a good match for my shoebox sized bathtub.

Miss the most: A stable address to get packages sent to. I prefer to do most shopping online and timing delivery days with where I'll be can be problematic. I was also a small time EBayer and would sell odds and ends when I no longer needed them. Can't really do that as it requires boxes, shipping materials etc to be sitting around.

Miss the least: Yard work.

Miss the most "MY WORKSHOP" and the least - maintaining seven acres with 100's of trees and 1/4 acre pond.

At least one of the winter places we've stayed (Llano Grande) has a workshop for shared camper use. I thought that was a super idea!
