I've heard alot about the warranty on an RV being void if you fulltime in the unit. Question is How will they know you are fulltiming? Why not just say we are on an extended camping trip. Will the dealer even ask? Am I to understand that if I want to travel the USA for a year I will be considered fulltiming?

Capt7383, welcome to iRV2.
There has been some talk about this, and a few manufacturers have that clause in their owners manual/warranty, but generally it is not a problem.
Many manufacturers know their customers are fulltimers and there is no problem.
Please post the make of your rig so other owners may comment.
Thanks for joining iRV2.

Thanks for the reply Route 66. As of yet we are in the planning stages. The plan is to retire in three years, buy a larger fifth wheel, and take a year or so to travel our great country. We'd like to settle in for a month or so in different areas so as to limit fuel charges, maximise the cost savings in campground fees, and explore the surrounding area. After a year it will be back to Ohio and the four grandchildren. Then we will use the fiver for snowbirding. So right now I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the lifestyle through folks like you guys, rv shows, magazines etc.
Tomorrow I'm going to look at a Glendale Titanium. Sure is confusing

I full time and have had no problems where the warranty was concerned.

Capt7383, when I was in the research stage, I found most of my info from the forums and talking to other owners.
