Our NorthTrail was decorated with a Nautical Theme for over a year. Now I changed that to a northern-forest/wildlife theme. Nice pictures of wildlife and as added touches fake pine branches and real pine cones. The old ugly brown boarder that came with the RV was covered with a more colorful Nature oriented border picturing pine cones and pine branches. The fleece throws (small lap blankets) have wildlife on them. Somehow it gives the RV a more cozy feel than the Nautical theme did.
heres some pics of my rv

Three things come to mind that we have really liked:

1) We bought a steering wheel topper at Campingworld. When set up, we tilt the steering wheel up to as near to horizontal as it will go and the wheel topper goes on top of it... turning it into an attractive "end table" when covered with a decorative table cloth. We put a lamp on top of it.

2) I installed rope lighting on the back side of the moldings on our slides so it gives the inside of the coach nice, indirect lighting. I went all out on this and have six stations of the rope light inside and out... all controlled by a wireless remote. The lamp on the wheel topper plugs into one of these stations so it's remote controlled and can be dimmed.

3) We added a coffee table which elevates to turn into a "dinner table" in front of our couch. We really like it and hardly ever use our actual dinning table anymore unless we have company.

Another idea is to get a digital picture frame which can hang on the wall and constantly change family photos of pics of your travels.

Best of luck.

Rick

Remember that anything not bolted down becomes a missile in the event of a panic stop, worse in an accident. A heavy coffee table could pancake a kitten if caught between ithe table and something bolted down. For small items you can buy industrial strength Velcro at Loew's and Home Depot. Before you drive, take everything lose and stow it. Just make sure it's attractive and safe.
