Found a good spot to store my torque wrench, but haven't found a good spot for a grease gun. What are some of you doing to store a grease gun? Thanks!! David

I have an air gun and I wrap a paper towel around the greasy end and put the whole thing in a garbage bag. I have a Craftsman tool chest and the grease gun goes behind it. Gotta have my tools.

I wrap the nozzle in a paper towel and put the whole thing in a heavy-duty zip-lock bag (2 gallon, I think).

Hint for my fellow greasers ! when you lube your drive shaft and slip joint, wrap the greased spinning parts with saran wrap, in the direction of spin, to prevent the excess grease from spraing around under your coach.

I cut the top half off a 1 gallon RainX windshield washer fluid container. I keep the grease gun and a small container or two in it that I don't want leaking on the carpeted storage compartment floor.

I have a Lincoln cordless grease gun and since I hate greasing the beast, this gun makes it a lot easier...Easy to store...Has its own case with grease storage...

Simple - I store it in the box it came in. This includes leaving the grease cartridge in the gun. Tip: You have to take the tube which fits onto the zerk fittings off the grease gun. So get 1 cap and 1 plug of the correct thread type to close the removed tube and one for the grease gun opening. The zerk fitting end already has a cap.

It all fits nicely in the original box.

Why carry a grease gun? Remember that weight is your enemy on the road. Grease stuff before leaving and put it back in the garage.

I have mine in a plastic bag and then it hangs in a cloth grocery bag back in the engine compartment (Diesel pusher)... always available and away from tools and rugs and stuff that just leaps out and grabs the grease!!!!

I also wrap a paper towel on the tip and secure it with a rubber band. I keep it in the MH to lube the Slip and u joint every 5k miles.
