Can't wait to sell the house and get the FULLTIMER MH (2007 KS 3910), hanging around Calgary, AB until we come back here to the Vancouver, BC area for the last winter, before DW retires!!!!

Hi from Tampa. So,...you've got one more winter in Vancouver, eh? We sure love that part of the West Coast but have kind of gotten used to the warmth, pools and beaches down here during those winter months. We're fulltimers also originally out of Duluth, MN, AND THAT PLACE IS COLD!! You're going to love fulltiming. Hope to meet ya sometime. Steve & Lynette

.We are heading to Hutchinson, KS in about 12 days to attend the NKK Region 3 rally and meet up with the 1st couple that we will be traveling to Alaska with. After KS, will travel to Moab, UT to see some of the sights in that area and drive some of the back roads in our Jeep. Then up to Washington State where we will meet up with the 2nd couple that we will be traveling with. Then all 3 of us (in Newmar rigs) will travel into Canada and Alaska for the next 2-3 months before returning back to the states.

God willing and my Mother gets a clean bill of health from her CAT scan today where they are looking for an Aneurism.

I like it, way to get it going there Chickadee! I'll be in the Mt Hood Oregon area for another month, then on up the Columbia River gorge and the John Day River for bass fishing, then on to the Deschutes River in central Oregon fishing for trout and steelhead with a little whitewater rafting. What else could summer be about??? Anyone else fishing the Northwest?

Mornin from Tampa....of ALL places. Ayah, there's fishin here but it aint the same nor as beautiful as where you're headed. If it weren't for our son and his family living here (grandkids), we'd seldom end up in this part of the country.....sure miss the mountains, pines, and fishin holes in the NW. We'll get back there pretty soon.

Say, does your pooch use bi-focals yet??? Steve & Lynette

Not yet, but I should probably have him checked again. You know, I keep telling him to use better light when he reads all those books, but he never listens....

Yeah but, he paid a lot for those designer glasses. I let him read your posts, and he (CJ) certainly appreciates your concerns! I'm still sittin' here in the Oregon cascades, but I'm getting a serious itch to move on, how 'bout you folks?

As I wrote earlier, we still try to get rid of "lots" of stuff, but if we have time for a few short trips, we like to do the "Cascade loop" in WA and hang around the OR coast, DW's time permitting??!!!
We'll go/drive to some RV meetings.

BOY!!!...are we anxious to get movin also, but, our daughter and her husband decided to make a visit from Minnesota down here to Tampa on JUNE 4th!!! .... of all times!!.... so, we're kinda just waiting. WILL be outta here on JUNE 10TH however....finally! Maybe a little of the tornado season will have abated by then.

T.W.!

Hi. Say when you said the "Cascade Loop", are ya talking, in part, about that route from Burlington (N. of Seattle) and Eastward on Hwy. #20 and over toward Winthrop??? We took that route once in a camping van before getting a big rig (45' pusher w. 500 ISM) and have wondered it might be an o.k. trip in this rig?? Have ya taken this route in your Bay Star?? Steve & Lynette

Yes - thats the drive.... we just live a few miles north of it, so - it's great for a few days of a trip..... (it might take a few trips to finish this loop) website: www.cascadeloop.com
Can't wait to see DW retire and go to see those places from the 60's!
We drove (by car) a few years ago to El Paso / TX and looked at our first apartment as a just married couple... DW did not belief me, that we lived THERE!!!! Everything is changing!!!??
RVgreetings

I'm spending the summer workamping at Crescent City KOA, tucked up in the redwoods and right on the coast. Cool and damp. Spent April crossing the country from NC to IN to NM to SoCal. Went with family in a borrowed Class A for a week in Joshua Tree National park, then two weeks in the SF Bay Area, then a week meandering up the coast to Del Norte County CA. After summer, who knows?

We're spending the summer in Idaho. DH bought a non-resident fishing license (ouch!) and will be spending a lot of time fishing, mainly in rivers since we don't have a boat to get out on the lakes.

Currently, we're camped at Pink House BLM Recreation Area west of Orofino, but will be moving up to Dent Acres COE Campground on the shores of Dworshak Reservoir tomorrow. From there, we'll take the Elk River Backcountry Byway up to Elk River and, from there, follow FR-50 along the St. Joe River. In July, we'll be in Stanley for a few days for a GTG with family.
