We moved into the RV July 2016. When we sold the house in September, we took off on our full time adventure.

2 weeks for us, I am 58and my wife is 52. We've been thinking about it for a year and shopped around but just couldn't pull the trigger on it. Now that we have we wish we did. So much less stress in our lives.

11 months for us. We love it, and can't imagine settling down in one place anytime soon.

We bought our 2013 Thor Challenger June 2016. Hubby retired end of 2016. Moved into MH full time March2017. Had taken small trips prior to FT And one 2400 mile round trip in Feb/March 2017 before totally moving out of house.
Now trying to get through with doctors appointments and take off for cross country trip. Selling home to one of our children....no going back!!! I'm Starr and hubby is Roger. 64 and 67 respectively. Hope to meet people and make friends, all while having the time of our lives.

My thinking is the best 'second home' is a credit card and a reservation to a hotel. So I either live in it or I dont own it.

Hi fellow golden yearers!(if that's a word). We just celebrated ours last month. Are trying to get away from living in yard beside what was our home....(selling it to daughter).
Trying to get doctor appts out of the way so we can take off cross country. Maybe we'll run into each other on the road.

As of Aug 2017, 3.5 years FT, just spent 2 weeks in a relative's house, now back in our own home on wheels. Much better.
