Full time is considered as your only place-main place to live. Not sporadically or weekends, but only-all the time-not between houses but in a trailer, camper, RV only.

Well I sure hope we last far more than 18 months. Just retired and sold everything we had to go full-timing. I don’t think 18 months will be long enough for us. Far too many things to see and do. I’m hoping for at least 10 years and if it’s still enjoyable at that point , we will keep going.

New Fulltimers

In mid September I retired, DH and I sold our house, sold, gave away or trashed everything we owned that wouldn't fit into our truck or 5er and hit the road from Pennsylvania. We headed south first to see some sights and visit some of our kids. Then we're making a push to be in Washington by the end of October for a family gathering. After that we're going to slow things down as we head south along the coast to get away from the cold weather. We're looking forward to seeing this beautiful country and visiting with our family who are scattered around the continent.

Hubby retired and I sold most everything we owned that wouldn't fit into our 36' MH. We became full timers along with our 13-yr-old dog. June 1, 2018. We are loving the lifestyle thus far! We decided to stay in FL during the winter months--we prefer the beach!! Planning to live in our RV as long as possible. We are newbie RV owners so we're kind of flying by the seat of our pants. Hoping to find good advice/guidance from forums such as this!
