AS has been said in previous posts. If you have an extra bathroom then you love having it.

f you've never had an extra bathroom then immediately you post negatively about having the 2nd toilet.

Then to justify your comment you tell us how it used to be or comment such things as In 16 years of full timing, we've never needed a second toilet or some other not so well thought out justification.

There are 3 pages full of Yes and no answers. Not sure if any more will be helpful

Current trailer has a single and that is good enough for me. DW says MH will have 1.5, case closed.

One aspect of the issue that, I don't believe, has been discussed is that the flexibility of a single bath can be enhanced by a well-designed "split bath" configuration. Our MH has a separate toilet room with sink plus a very large shower area with a second sink. in addition, my wife has a lighted vanity area with mirror and storage.

Yes, sometimes having a second toilet would be nice, but, most of the time, having the split bath arrangement allows us both to get ready to go out at the same time without interfering with each other.

I assume your comments are meant for me. I didn't post negatively about having the 2nd toilet. Those that seem to need it have posted their comments, as I did. The OP's question was "Is one bathroom enough". I posted on how we wanted our motorhome to be which was very satisfactory with one bathroom for yes, 8 yr. and 8 yr. in a 5th wheel. We didn't give up anything. We weren't 'roughing it'. We learned to live minimally which we loved. That's what we wanted and that's what we got. We were perfectly comfortable with the arrangement. We had 3 full bathrooms in the 3,000 sq. ft. house we sold. Again, we only wanted one in the RVs.

I didn't mean you posted "negative" thoughts just that you were against a 2nd bathroom. But I am sincere in saying that those who don't have a 2nd bathroom are missing something but they just don't know it. My coach is listed as 43' long. In reality it's almost 44 feet. I have a washer and dryer, and a 2nd bathroom. In reality, we have PLENTY of room with a great floor plan.

The second toilet isn’t necessary until it is. One or two times running to the campground toilets makes it desirable. Now that we have it. It’s more than convenient. And with company in the coach on occasion it makes for a nice guest/host experience.

Only the OP can decide if they want it or not. The rest of us only have opinions based on our wants and needs

One bath was always good enough for my first 60 years of RV'ing so I suspect it will be for my next 25!

My wife and I bought our 2016 Winnebago Adventurer 37F with the bath and a half-bath and we do not regret it! The wife loves using the half bath for her makeup and stuff. Whatever makes her happy.....

Seeing that many houses the US still only have one bathroom, and that many of us grew up in homes with only one (even some large families), I'm going with it not being necessary.

That said, if your budget and floor plan allows you to choose a second bathroom and that will make your living better, then go for it. Personal choice and each of us is going to have slightly different reasons to reach one of two answers.

Without reading this whole thread, and reading here on this forum for a couple of years now at least, I know for sure that many will say they think it's not worth sacrificing the living space.

Before we had a TT with one bath.

Being FTers, our present coach is 35' 3" and we have a bath and a 1/2. It's not just having another toilet for god's sake. I will tell you, my wife & I having our own space to get ready after a shower, having our own privacy and storage for our own toiletries, her make up, her hair dryer, our own place to wash up and brush our teeth in the AM and PM, etc etc, getting up in the morning and preparing for the day, getting ready in our separate space to go out on the town or visit our friends in the CG is priceless. We have met many, many people on the road who have said they wish they had a bath and a 1/2. We feel so blessed to have this extra 1/2 bath feature in our coach at a fraction of what it normally costs in most coaches.

It's the most valuable asset to our coach...for sure.

We wouldn’t be without ours.

Go for it. You won't be sorry.

Nuf said.

So glad we have it!

We travel the country full time, (as opposed to full time living in the same place for 6-12 months), and we’re in a 45’ class A. I say that, because I think your use, and the amount of time you spend in the RV, make a difference. Also, are you or your partner going to use the showers in the RV park, or do you want to use the one in your RV. We always shower and use the toilet at home. For us, the 1/2 bath is a big deal, and I wouldn’t get another RV without it.

It’s a must when the wife is putting on makeup or whatever; or if I’m going to stink up the place; or if visitors are over at the house (and the main bathroom is not looking its best); or one of you is taking a long shower; or just plain convenience, (because the half bath is in the middle of the house, and the full bath is all the way in the back.)

So I’m in the “get it” camp, if you and your budget have the option.

One or two Bathrooms

One is ok. Two is sooooo much easier and convenient. We full time and after having one bath then moving to a two bath.....life’s too short not to have two.

I vote 2. I'm shopping for my first RV (5ver TH) and it will have a 1/2 bath.
