I know this forum is a great source of info, but is there a book about living full time in an RV? I'd like to read something that outlines the whole experience - then start with the questions.

If you google full time rving you will find more info than you can ever use. Books, newsletters, etc. Good luck to you.

I'm sure I'll be spending a good deal of time on the internet. But if anyone has a particular book they really like I'd like to know the name of it.

There are many good books on fulltiming.
Movin' On by the Hofmeister's is one of the best.
Here's a list of quite a few. All available from Amazon.com
I suggest;
Complete Guide to Full-Time RVing: Life on the Open Road (Paperback)
by Moeller
Fulltiming: An Introduction to Full-time Rving (Paperback)
by Gaylord Maxwell
Full-Time RVing : How to Make it Happen (Paperback)
by Sharlene Minshall
Movin' on: Living and Traveling Full-Time in a Recreational Vehicle (Paperback)
by Ron Hofmeister

Yes, there are books out there, but by the time they are published they are really out of date. Read several forums (this one, RV.Net, Escapees) and look at what people are writing about and also read the blogs of people who post in the fulltimers section - that is the best education you can get, people who are CURRENTLY doing it. Things have changed so much in the past 10 years (who had heard of an aircard ten years ago?) that it makes one's head spin to think how much we take for granted wasn't around when my parents fulltimed in the 80s.

Thank you all for your input. I will definately be online to get the latest, and the "real scoop". For now, I'll start with one of the books suggested.

Have to agree with you Barb. When I first met Gaylord Maxwell in the early 90s he defined "full timers" as anyone who traveled in a RV for at least 3 months a year.
