Just landed a CG position.

Landed a sweet host position in a very nice park for 2013! Starts March 1st and runs through summer. This is perfect for us and can't wait to get started! No answering phones, or handling reservations! 44 sites total with paved roads and campsites with 50amp, W, S, and cable. Three days on and six days off! 1,100 acres of trails, horse back riding, swimming, tennis, two 18 hole golf courses and much more!

Sorry, I should have included the location in the first post! Tanglewood park, Winston-Salem, N.C. Half mile off I-40 on the west side of Winston-Salem.

I've not heard of that one. we'll certainly give it a try the next time we're trudging across I-40.

Just for interest, what would it cost per month to spend the summer there if you weren't working.

$31 a night X the stay but they only allow a fourteen day max. Why?

Thanks. I was just curious to compare your deal with similar deals in Australia where working it out on a strictly financial basis, many deals end up leaning pretty much in favour of the campground. The high minimum legal wage in Australia means you don't have to do many hours a day to more than pay for the cost of the campground - especially if both partners are required to work
Naturally there are other factors involved and in your case the restricted length of stay for paying customers is the clincher.
