LI oP Error Code

Hello All,

So my Wife and I defrosted our freezer today and upon turning it back on, I got the error code: LI op. Upon opening the access panel on the outside I discovered a bunch of water that I assume came from defrosting the freezer. However, even after thoroughly drying up the water in the defrosted freezer and emptying the drip tray in the fridge, I am still getting a bit of water leaking.

When I first opened the panel, I noticed a red light on but once I vacuumed up the water it turned off. I then drove down to the hardware store to get some magnets to try and reset the switch (I saw this done on YouTube). However, that has not fixed the issue either.

The following morning which is now, the drip tray was full once again of water but the red light that I saw was common with this LI oP Code has remained off. If anyone has any advise, I would be much appreciative of what I may be dealing with here.

Chris

Freezer has NO external drain ...no external connection
Food comparment has a drip tray under the cooling fins that drains to backside of fridge into a drip cup which is next to burner area

Water leaking.....due to have an Ice Maker?
Water supply leaking?

Li oP.....High Temp Limit Switch error

RED light..Recall Box
If RED Light is OFF.......turn fridge OFF/then back ON to reset Li oP error

Thank you for the reply. No, I do not have a ice maker so no water should be running into the fridge to my knowledge. The drip tray in the food compartment seems to work fine as water has flowed into there in the past and when we unthawed the freezer I emptied that tray as well of the residual water left. Additionally, I have turned the fridge off several times and upon powering it back on, I am still getting the same error code. One thing I have not tried is to unplug the fridge in the outside access panel as I saw that’s where it was plugged in but again, I don’t see how that will address the water leaking. This morning before leaving, the drip tray on the outside of the RV in the access panel was full of water again after emptying last night before bed. When I get back to the RV in a couple hours I will check it again but I expect it to be full of water again. So I don’t know what the source of this water is as the freezer is completely unthawed and I have no ice maker with a direct water source going into the unit.
