Long Term Place in South Carolina

My dad currently lives in Anderson, SC on the lake and is selling his place. He is interested in buying an RV and renting a space in an RV park near Anderson, SC. Does anyone know of any good long term RV parks or tiny home communities near Anderson, SC? I would like to find a place that has some community events for him to participate in.
Thanks!

That's so thoughtful of you as a son. Your dad is lucky. A lot of older people get thrown away. We've ran into some really great RV Parks for seniors in our travels so far and I'm sure someone will chime in with some leads for you to check out in the area you seek.

Good luck....my friend.

Take a ride and check out the places that look appealing to your dad. Talk to the people staying there. Most will give you honest answers, good or bad.
You mentioned he is selling his place on a lake. Will he miss the water?
Most state parks will have a 2 week time limit. So staying there for an extended period is not an option.

Here is a good place to start your search..

This will get you started. You'll just have to start calling for long-term information. Sometimes a mobile home park with a clubhouse would be better for long-term. Good Luck!!
