Looking into either long term or purchase of a lot
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has either purchased a lot or used long term RV parking at a park? Wife and I just took a new job with FedEx as team drivers (our truck their trailer) we haul specialized freight and as such are usually off from Friday AM till Monday am. We have a 40' 99 Western Alpine diesel pusher that's just sitting at home. And it seems logical to try and set it up as a second home somewhere. We frequent Knoxville Louisville Memphis and have friends in Missouri as well. I've been googling but getting frustrated because finding rates seems to be hard. It occurred to me to come here and look for help in addition to continue my search myself. Thanks

Id like to add we live in Florida and we don't get trips there often enough. Staying at a hotel is pricy and staying in the truck all weekend sucks LOL 😁

I just did a quick Google for 'Knoxville, permanent parking in RV parks' and this and many others came up:
https://www.yellowpages.com/knoxvill...-monthly-rates
You might also search for RV parks with monthly rates. Good luck!

Thanks Eddie, got my hopes up till I Google mapped it would be over a thousand miles round trip every weekend we could just go home. But I really appreciate the listing. Have checked some of the other lot for sale pages and man it's slim pickings
Well unless you want to buy a lot that already has an RV with build on. Had no idea this was going to be so challanging

You may want to check out State Park Campgrounds, and City Park Campgrounds. We full timed at City Park in Decatur, Al. Open year round. Point Mallard Campground. These are of course all rentals. You will be surprised what might find for sale on Craiglist also. We full time about 8 months annually. Owed several RV lots Florida. Kelp home base Alabama. Good luck.

I have property purchased in a few different spots to act as a home base. Beach, mountain, and looking to get a desert lot at some point. Probably only going to pay utilities at a couple of the sites we intend on spending most of the time at.
This is just empty land though. Did my own work to get utilities on the properties.
