In a stick house you can hide a key under a flower pot, use a trusted neighbor or garage door keypad to get in if you lose your keys. What do full-timers do??? I've used magnetic hide-a-key boxes only to find them missing when I REALLY needed them.

I use the magnetic hide a key. This is my fifth motorhome and I have never lost a key. The secret is to put the key on top of the frame. not on the side or bottom, as it will fall off. The trick is to make sure you clean the surface thoroughly. You can use the motorhome frame as it is high quality steel. I like to use the LP gas compartment, because this door does not lock. If you can reach the frame, here, use it. If not there is usually a brace in there that will work. Also hide a key in your towed. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of nowhere and losing your key and the cell phone not working.

I keep a spare key in my billfold. Can't tell you how many times that has come in handy.

Spare keys ducktaped to the frame in a spot I can access. Same with my cars.
I locked my self out 40 years ago and learned my lesson.
Magnetic boxes rust and fall off.

And you are parked where? I think you need to find a new place for that key, now that you told the world where it is. Just a heads up.

Locksmith have a box with a front opening that is practically inpenetrable.
The front lifts off when you punch in a code #----room for a set of keys.
I through bolted two of these into the frame in the propane tank area. Never lost a key but have arrived at the storage area without. Glad I have them.

I use a realtor style lock-box with a punch combination. It is hung in a secure manner that would require a hack saw to get off if you did not know the combination.
I have never used it, but I have locked myself out twice and each time the DW was still in the MH.
No, if I ever lock myself out again she will not know about it!

I also use a push button combo type lock box that I bought at Lowes. It is bolted in an open compartment. I figure if I have it I won't need it.

In my propane bay is what is commonly called a "Realtor's Box" this is a box with a combination lock on it's face.. If you know the combination (I do) it opens and out comes the keys to the door.. If you don't know the combination.. Well, You can set 1,2,3,4 up to 10 digits, so the max number of combinations is
10*9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2, Have fun figuring out how many digits I used and what they are
(For the math puriest out there, there is a Times 1 at the end of that mathmatical sentence, however.. Since X times 1 = X, I left it off)

I have one storage compartment that doesn't require a key, I have one stashed in there under the battery. It works pretty good but I haven't been locked out since I put a key there
