Mail services while going full time

We are going to go full time on November 1st for at least a year.

We are looking for different services to manage our mail.

I'd love to hear your experiences.

I have used myrvmail in crestview Florida for 7+ years. They have great service and was one of the least expensive services when I signed up.

First question, do you really need a mail forewording service?
Setup all your bills for auto bill pay or email notice.
Have one of your kids take in and sort your mail. Foreword only the important stuff. Same family member could be your home mail address.

Where are you going to domicile?

Will you need to purchase medical insurance or are you on Medicare?

You need an address of some sort and if you're taking off in November you should have begun the address change a few months ago.

Full-timing for only a year? You really need more time if you're planning to travel.

We used Escapees RV Club's mail forwarding service with no issues. It also gave us an address for voting.

Your decision making process will start with picking a state for your domicile. Then, once you know the state, you can begin researching mail services.

The vast majority pick either Texas, Florida, or South Dakota. Any of the three will work nicely so the decision is more about personal preferences than one being clearly the best.

For instance, in our case, we were already Texas residents and we planned on returning to the state to be near family and friends during the winter months. Picking Texas was easy enough and, since we wanted to use the excellent mail service offered by Escapees, we "moved" to Livingston, TX.

Here's a website that describes what is involved in establishing residency using Escapees in each of the three states. Even if you decide to use a different mail service, this information will be helpful to you. https://www.escapees.com/education/domicile/

We have had good results with using "Escapee mail". We tried going the family address route but got tired of receiving opened forward mail. The question that needs to be asked is are you "OK" with family members forwarding open bank statements and retirement statements to you, even if they were opened by mistake?
Don't even try ordering a sex toy!! (just kidding)

The OP never said they plan to move domicile. If you don't move domicile your mail service can be anywhere.

We have our domicile, driver's lic, voter reg, and mail forward service with St. Branden's Isle in Green Cove Springs Florida.

We have used them for the last 5+ years with no problems.

So you won't have a permanent home address after November 1st?

Not if you're under 65 and have to buy your own health insurance.

MyRVmail has been good with us too. Only took us 1.5hrs to get licence and registered to vote in Oklaloosa Co. We used the Crestview DMV Office and walked across the hall to establish our domicile.
