Our quest for FT life

Hello fellow Campers...
We are at the beginning of creating our FT adventure. I have less than 3 years till I can fully retire, wife will have several more after that. We both grew up camping, spent 3 months living in a Pop-up when 1st together almost 35 years ago, have gone thru several popups and into a Hybrid several years ago. We spend 30-45 nights a year camping in some form or another....We have sold our home of 25 years, bought a few acres with a shack of a house and a 5-Er. We have power and hook up, plan on building a bath house and a few sites for visitors at our "Home Base" and once I retire, move around to some local campgrounds and host while the DW finishes her few years. I realize nothing is set in stone, but starting month 3 and enjoying it.

Sounds like a great plan. Keep us informed on how it goes. Enjoy.

Winters are fairly mild most of the time...most snow is gone by the afternoon...can expect a few days where it wont get above freezing.

You REALLY want to make sure of all this before you hit the road.

We will for sure, we both are covered by work with BCBS.... She will be covered but I will need to buy mine. Just need to figure what will be better, ride on hers or a separate policy.
