Hi, I have a question. I am now in TN for a few months because we are getting my mother in law acclimated in an assisted living residence. I started working in retail for a few weeks in a seasonal position for extra Christmas money.

My question... They had me put my address for taxes and I put my mom's address in Tn because we are staying here awhile and my full time address is Livingston, TX. I couldn't work from there so I had to use a close address.

Will that cause me IRS problems having TN address for a while?

Elise,

I just found your post. Here's what I think.

Don't worry about it. If Livingston is your IRS recognized address then that's what goes on your tax return.

We worked in Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN. TN has no state income tax. You won't file a state return, only your 1040. Just be sure to list your TN W2 info.
