We use Dakota Post and have had no issues at all. They also do registration. We were able to do it ourselves when we were there. Drivers license took two of us about 20 minutes and the registration, mh, toad and motorcycle, about an hour. Very simple and quick, just make sure your paperwork is in order beforehand.

We did recently have them do the registration transfer for us when we bought a new coach. Very efficient and in about 2 weeks all was done and new registration paperwork was in hand.

We have used My Home Address in Emery, SD for 11 years. We've been very happy with them, always friendly & helpful. You only have to go to SD to get your driver's license, the service will get everything registered for you by mail or email. Call any of the mail forwarding services in SD, I have never heard a bad review on any of them

If health insurance is important, do your research regarding SD.

Does SD require you to take a test to move your DL to the state?

Rich, why would you go all the way to SD. Right next door is TN and has arguably the best thing going. No state income tax, very cheap license and registration, no state inspection and you can renew DL on line for 8 yrs. We use Tn as domicile and still have mail forwarding in SD.

Good afternoon everyone,

We just received offer on home with closing date set for July 27th. Since we have never been west of the Mississippi we thought that the NW would be a great choice to begin the next chapter. With that being said I was wondering what the process is to set up mail forwarding & domicile in SD.
