Seeking TX Alternative to Escapees Mail Forwarding
Hello All!
While I could search for an answer, I am just too livid. I was with Americas Mailbox in SD for years, but a couple of years ago changed domicile to TX and went with Escapees.
I AM LOOKING FOR A Texas ALTERNATIVE TO ESCAPEES. Any suggestions?
I just had my second misfire with them where I tried to use their online contact form to change forwarding directions and it was not properly processed. As a result, they forwarded mail that I may never receive.
It seems their contact form has to be processed by a person, while it always seemed Americas Mailbox forwarding instructions got processed electronically. All I asked was for them to STOP a recurring forwarding instruction. Didn't happen. How hard could it be to not do something?
Anyway, I am not a fan. Not excited about having to go through the whole change of address thing, but I just find them too difficult to work with.

Sometimes you just have to revert to a vintage thing called the telephone. Use it to call them

Sorry you had that experience. How much time did you give them to stop the mail request? We used it for 16 years without one problem.

Amen to just a simple phone call....
As full-timers, we have them send our mail all over the country with 100% success.... Extremely nice folks to work with that have gone that “extra mile” for me more than once....
I simply pick up the phone, tell them the new address I want my accumulated mail they might have sent to and PRESTO - a few days later my mail arrives....

We have used Escapees for almost 20 years with never an error on their part and we have our mail forwarded all over the place. Something seems amiss.

Seeking TX Alternative to Escapees Mail Forwarding
We, too, have had multiple years (7) of roaming the country with Escapees mail service with zero errors.
While I would be loath to claim that SKPs never makes mistakes, I might also say that the OP, claiming two big screw-ups in two years, has beaten the odds to such an extent that I would urge him to be very careful of lightning and start buying lottery tickets.

We are at 14 years with Escapees, and every problem we have ever had (which is minuscule over 14 years) has been the Post Office screwing up, not Escapees. And the online contact form isn't what one uses for the mail service - you either send an email to mailservice at escapees dot com or give them a call. Even when we are in some place for an extended period of time, I never set up reoccurring schedule for deliveries - sometimes we can go weeks, sometimes we need to do 3-4 weeks in a row, just depends upon what is going on.

I'm not the OP, but I'll say that it was nice of you to actually answer the question.
The Wichita Falls mail forwarder uses the address: 1530 PB Ln #xxxxx. I wonder if the smart computers these days will change the PB to Lead.

So far Old Biscuit's response is the only one to answer the OP's question.

Howdy!
We fulltime and have been using Escapees mail service for over 13 years with great results. Only problem was once when I attempted to use e-mail to have our mail forwarded. It didn’t work so I reverted back to just calling them as I have always done, problem solved.
