Hello all,

My wife and I have had a GREAT time full-timing for about 3 1/2 years. I've made a highlights video at the end of each year we've been on the road.

I use a computer application from Photodex called Proshow Gold. It takes quite an effort to put a video together (and get it just the way I want it ). However, we find it a great way to share our travel adventures.

I put our 'Year 3' highlights video out on Youtube just a couple weeks ago. Since Youtube is limited to 10 minutes of length, I had to break it into 2 parts. Each part is about 8 minutes long. The following links will get you there:

For those interested in how we started our full-time adventures, the first 2 years are still out on 'google video.' Here are the links to the first and second year video.

We really enjoy our RV full-timing experience. Meeting new people and old friends along the way is a big part of the fun. The videos are a great way to share what you've been up to. Thanks.

Safe Travels,
Will T (Willzwing)

What a great idea. While hosting in Branson one of the other hosts made a movie using still photographs set to music on a DVD. I like the idea of video better I recently purchased a Flip and am learning to make video's on my iMac. Like you say, very time consuming. The big problem I have is the file sizes for a decent HD video are huge. The video I did for Christmas was over 200MB. I need to figure out how to keep the size down so I can post or email the video's.

That is SO cool!! Really neat idea, I enjoyed watching them. It is so great that you became such good friends with the family that purchased your stick house!

Where is the park, in Washington, where you were right on the water? That is a place that I want to try

Thank you for sharing!! I hope, someday, to do what you are doing.

Sheila

Sheila,

Thanks for the kind comments. The Washington campground from the 'year 1' video you mentioned was the Thousand Trails La Connor Preserve. We were able to get a similar campsite at that preserve in 2009 as well.

As former "midwestern landlubbers", it is still a kick for us to get waterfront sites. That's one of the reasons we enjoyed last year's Baja MX caravan so much.

Safe travels,
Will
