Telemedicine for Primary Care?

What do you do if you're never in one place long enough to have a primary care Physician (PCP)?

With Medicare it's not absolutely essential to have a specific PCP but I think it would be nice. There are now several telemedicine companies that provide virtual visits. Do any of them serve as PCP?

There is a new smart phone app and service "Doctor On Call"... You might wish to check it out.

Normally I see my PCP when I'm in my home base area.

Trouble is, I don't have a home base. Even if I did, I doubt that my old-school doctor would interface well with an on-line service.

Are you planning to winter or summer in the same general area? Get your doctor there for once a year checkups. That's what most full-timers do. You don't necessarily have to stay in the same town all winter or the same campground but travel the nearby perimeter and when you have your appts. set up, come back for them. It can be done.

We just got new physicians in Mesa because we spend a few months there every winter. It just makes sense to get annual checkups when you have time to have meds adjusted, do a referral, etc. - - and as you get older you will find that the time required increases.
