The Adventure has begun!!!
I left Hermiston, OR, this am, headed to New Orleans and parts unknown. The house finally sold and cleared closing this past Thursday. I'd already been living in the MH for the past 3 weeks. I drove about 290 miles today and am currently sitting in the Mountain Home RV Park in Idaho. Tomorrow I plan on only doing about 260 miles, that should put me in Ogdon, UT. So if you are traveling and see my Mountain Aire pulling a teal Olds Cutlass Supreme convertible, That's me.
More later

Al & Kate, no set date yet, just taking it one day at a time. Right now I'm stuck in Ogden, UT, they are forecasting wind gust up to 55mph tomorrow. Thanks, I'll just stay right where I am.
I have no plans on where to stay yet, I'll PM you when I get closer. Thank you.
Kaye

Welcome to the road! We closed on our house last February and never looked back. We have met a lot of folks like us.

G'morning from Silver Springs, Florida (Ocala area), and a GREAT BIG WELCOME to the iRV2 gang!! We're full timers out of South Dakota now spending this winter in the WARM sunshine. Sure feels gooooood!
So,....what route are ya planning on taking from Ogden down to New Orleans? Just curious. Have a great trip.

Plan on I-15 down to 93/95 down to 10 and then across. Had a friend that told me that by-passed alot of the higher mountain peaks, so far he's been right.
Any better Ideas?
Thanks
Kaye

Thanks Steve, good to know my planned route is okay.
Welp, I'm still stuck in Ogden, UT. Will give it until Monday when weather appears to be a little better. Sure am glad I'm not on any timetable. lol
So far so good.
