GraciesMom: Yup....it's hard not to recall one of the Alaska camps with fond memories. I was just wonderin if others kinda had a place that REALLY brought back warm feelings and a smile. There a alot of camp spots that are.....o.k.,...... and beautiful, but once in awhile there's that SPECIAL PLACE that for one reason or another......just seemed to be......perfect harmony!!! Eh? Hi All:

Well, looks like THIS thread died on the vine for some reason. Guess there aren't many RV'rs who recall with fond memories a certain, VERY SPECIAL, campground.

So, here we are sitting at harbor side in ol Duluth, Minnesota along with some other RV rigs from all over the country and right among the boats in the marina. This is a WONDERFUL parking spot from which to experience the whole area. Lake freighters and "saltys" coming and going under the aerial lift bridge, blues fest coming up in a few weeks, just had a great 4th and fabulous fire works over the harbor, and catching up with old friends.

OOOOH! You are in my hometown. I was born at St Mary's Hospital.
I love that city but of course I have much loved family there, too.

We've not been there for several years but hope to maybe next summer.
Don't miss the railroad museum or Split Rock Lighthouse up the northshore.

We've always had the pleasure of a "campsite" in my uncle's driveway, but maybe next time we'll try out that campground where you are.
