Congratulations Chet.
We are in the process of getting rid of 30 plus years of stuff. Keeping the house and have some folks who want to rent from us in the spring. So our clock is ticking to get rid of everything.
I do have a couple buyers in line for my business and after that we will be on the road also. I think we will end up getting a smaller storage unit for few things we want to keep yet not haul around with us.
Have fun and good luck!

Got our check for the house yesterday, had beers with the new owners in their new front yard. Drove 200 miles today for our first real no sticks and bricks full timing. Have been living in RV since February but now pure freedom.
What a feeling.

Yes indeed. It can be a big change, but for us the feeling of liberation as we drove away with the "Sold" sign in the mirror was incredible.

Congratulations, glad it went well. We are in the struggle of shedding the possessions.

My guess is they are GLAD to get rid of 41 acres of constant upkeep. Time to relax and enjoy life!

This time 3 years ago we had just closed on the sale of our home of 30 years. The cheque was in the bank and as we drove away I didn't even look back. We had some great times there raising our family but the chance to start again and be full-time in our RV meant freedom from debt, maintenance and in a way, responsibilities, and still is.
Good luck!
