Today is the day!

We've sold our house and closing is this afternoon. We're moved into our motorhome and officially become full-timers this afternoon.

First stop--somewhere west of PA.

First scheduled stop, Catalina State Park, AZ for Christmas & New Years rally with RVForum friends.

Wow, a new set of sneakers for your baby & you're off and running (saw your tire post). Best of luck to you.

Congratulations! Looks like you've allowed plenty of time before your first scheduled stop

Our house closed a few weeks ago but we're in it until I retire - three weeks from today!

Unfortunately we will be traveling like tourists on vacation the first couple of months due to commitments in the east then the west side of the country.

Congrats to you! You must be feeling excited and apprehensive at the same time as you step into unknown territory. I can only imagine. Please keep us informed of how it is working out for you, I'm curious. There are many of us who are intrigued by the full timing lifestyle and are sitting on the fence as to whether we should jump in or not. By reading how full timers handle their daily events it helps shed some of those fears and tilts us towards making the plunge into full timing.
The very best of luck to you in your new lifestyle!!

What a glorious day this is for you. I wish you many happy miles, and all the adventure you can handle. Keep safe.

LUCKEEEE! Just jealous because we're still several years away from selling everything and hitting the road full time. Congrats, have fun, and safe traveling on your adventure.

Congratulations. I sold the house last year. We love the freedom and all there is to see. But like a house there is always something to do on your new home. Bring your tools and enjoy.

This is an update.

The closing was great! No questions or changes.

We're now living in the Monaco and the main problem, so far, is "Where did I put that?"

The new owners of our place (41 acre farm with two RV full hook ups) are great! They don't plan to move in for at least a month and have given us all the time we need to move out and get setup in the RV. Our anticipated date to start down the road is the 19th.

Wow, congratulations. I can't imagine getting rid of 41acres to full time RV. Best of luck to you.
