Tree frogs

OK, any idea how these little buggers can get into a Class A DP? And how do we get rid of them? We are FT in NC right now.

How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? What a problem! You can't poison them or they will stink. You can hunt them down as they croak at night and toss them out. Can you get a cat?

In Maryland, we have quite a variety of tree frogs. They love to climb, and i have seen them occasionally on the siding of the house, usually in the evening. I was asked by someone many years ago if we had any stale water nearby (we do have a seasonal creek nearby, but not exactly near the house). Can’t recall why I was asked, but maybe the can “smell” stale water and that can draw them out???

This little guy (image makes him(her) look huge, but only about 1.5”) loves to crawl up into my side burner of the grill. I “relocate” him whenever I grill, but he is usually back the next evening.

I don’t think I would be as tolerant in my RV. They tend to make a high pitch squeal / wail(?) rather than a croaking sound.

Sorry, i forgot to answer your question... Was told that snake repellent will work. Don’t know if it just acts as a repellent to keep them from coming in, or if it will also help to drive them out.

You need to find the source of where they're coming in. One time a campground had huge black moths flying around. When we left they were all tucked in the slide seals. When we pulled the slides in along came hundreds of moths - the BIG ones. It took us many days to get rid of them. You might try looking at your slide seals.

Sounds awful. Good luck!

Recently we had a tree frog apocalypse in south Texas. They came in through the tops of the slides I finally figured out. We had a cat but they were so numerous there was no stopping them. We just had to wait them out! They did not bother me but my husband was thoroughly freaked out by them hopping on him in the middle of the night lol

A few year ago when I was washing the roof, I flushed one out from under the air conditioner shroud. Thought about what to do with the little guy, didn't want to wash him over the side, so I did the noble deed and left the little guy alone. Who knows how long he was up there, it had been weeks since last parking the rig under a tree and the dogs and I had covered about 3,000 miles. I guess he like the wind in his face.

We had a tiny one get into one of our outside access doors (water? shore power?, ??). In the middle of the night I'd hear a chirping that, for the life of me, sounded like some sort of low battery alarm or something. Of course as soon as I'd get up it would stop, only to start again after I settled back in bed. It took forever to figure it all out an re-locate it. It's one of those stories that we'll remember forever.

I can't tell you how they get in, but they do love to hang out under my outside door handle flap paddle.
