Look at the Columbus 385BH 5th wheel. If that does not work not sure what could work.
A teenage boy just might like staying in the garage area of a toy hauler. He could stay warm with an electric heater or oil filled heater plus a real good sleeping bag.
You get more room in a 5th wheel than you do in a MH. Plus a 5th wheel is usually insulated better than a MH.
Look at the Wild Cargo Winslow that is built by Peterson Industry. It is probably the best insulated toy hauler.
Now - do not underestimate how difficult it is to stay warm in a 5th wheel or MH. They are not a house. Most only have 2" walls and single pane windows.
I am in Florida 70 miles north of Tampa in a run of the mill 5th wheel. The temps here seldom go below freezing but will often go into the upper 30's / low 40's at night. That is cold. It takes a lot to heat the typical RV.
In north Virginia - yikes, it snows there. Make sure you get dual pane windows, and extra insulation package.

The Class A could have bunks for your girl (sleep in 1 bunk, store her stuff in the other bunk) & your son his own "apartment" in that pop-up. Mind you, that pop-up won't be for any winter camping you might contemplate.

Here is where we are at.
Class A: Hubby hates to drive in cars, gets bored. Hates to stop for all the kids to use bathroom and eat.
Bunks or Large living area with a small toy hauler travel trailer for the teenager and the toys.
We are thinking diesel because I have a large SUV that will get towed.
We will look seriously to purchase in January of next year unless there is a killer deal.

Just what are you planning to tow behind the motorhome? The TT or the SUV? Or is someone going to be driving the motorhome & someone else driving the SUV with TT in tow? You aren't going to be able to pull both a TT & SUV behind a motorhome. Plus you're going to have to watch your hitch capacitity, as well as GCWR (gross combined weight rating) for your whole set up since you're thinking toy hauler for the TT. Toy hauler TT's aren't small or light.

We were looking at getting a few racing go carts and were hoping to pull them along.
Our dream would be to get a trailer that the SUV could tow on short trips and the MH could tow on long trips but I was asking too much.
We also "toy"ed with the idea of using the toy hauler as the teenagers bedroom instead of having to get a bunk model RV but that isn't looking to work either :(

There are companies that will build anything you want (for a price) Continental Coach worked with me on a two bedroom with a toy hauler. We have not taken it to the next step because of the business climate and I don't want to waist there time. If you are interested I will send you the info. These units are well into the 6 figures and need a serious truck.
If you like the idea of a motor home and a trailer you may want to look at Renagade. Lots of great deals on racingjunk.com
My ultimate rig would be a 5th wheel towed with a Toter Home.
Have fun in your search.

With a real truck and coach could be in the 300s all depends on how you lay it out.
