We miss our hot tub

My girl and I kicked off our full time adventure last October, we have had some ups and downs like everyone but are really loving the miles, the people, the sunsets and this great nation we live in. One thing we really miss is our hot tub, not for bathing but for the joy and comfort of all that hot water. My better half wants to buy an inflatable hot tub to take on the road. I see many problems with that. We have thought about joining a nation wide gym or something just to use hot tubs or saunas.
Any thoughts on soaking a bunch of old bones

Many RV parks have a pool with a spa. I would think RV parks would frown on you filling up the tub and then dumping it when you leave. Plus, you won't have any privacy - all the kiddies would be visiting you and the older folks would have their binoculars riveted on you! There would also be a liability issue for a child falling in when you weren't there.

We do know of a couple who filled their portable in Quartzsite, AZ while boondocking in the desert. It took many trips into town to fill their containers with water to haul back to their tub and then they rigged a heater powered by solar.

Take advantage of some of the hot springs as you travel...a lot easier.

Maybe you can plan some stays at RV resorts that have hot tubs at your site. Willow Tree RV Resort in Myrtle Beach has a few hot tub sites. There must be other places across the country that also have them. They may cost more but for a splurge once in a while it would be worth it.

Sean and Louise had an inflatable in their converted bus. By all accounts, they enjoyed it immensely. They sold it and bought a boat now but you can search their blog at Our Odyssey and see what they said.
