Looking at the pricing structure, I notice that there are 3 different prices.

Are these prices for 1 individual, or does each price cover both people in the motorhome?

Assuming you are asking about the Escapees Mail Service. There are 3 different classes of service. Most people start with Class A and then adjust to B or C as time goes on. The pricing is for your mailbox and any mail that is addressed to it.

Do I need to show up with our motorhome?

We are close enough to get there by car. We are 1 1/2 hours away from Escapees. Seems like such a waste to have to unhook everything to make such a short trip.

You don't have to go there at all. You can set up everything by mail.

No, you don't have to go there. Give them a call and they can get everything set up. I would encourage you, though, to go ahead and go over, spend a few days, and see the operation. It is really quite impressive. Also, if you are going to set up Texas as your domicile, you can do it all right in Livingston.

What about Postal Form 1583?

I thought that you had to fill that out in person, at their location.

But, whichever option we choose, does that price cover both of us for the mailing service, or do we have to pay for each of us?

It needs to be notarized. They will do it if you're there, but if not you can get it notarized wherever you are.

It's for the address. Doesn't matter how many people.

Moxxi: The mail service can be done with a phone call and they can answer any question you have. The price you see is the only price... doesn't matter how many people are on the address.

Since you're so close I'd recommend a trip there. The mail service is like a post office with highly automated equipment. There are thousands of folks using it. A semi truck comes daily to pick up and drop off mail. You can get a tour of it but call and ask for days/times to be sure when you arrive.

We used to flawlessly for approximately 20 years - no problems.

We picked MyRvmail.com in Crestview, FL for our upcoming full time adventure. Both under 65 so we needed nationwide PPO coverage. They handle a lot of mail since they also handle Good Sams mail.
I was surprised he DMV Agent I spoke to knew the address and business. Able to keep my CDL licence.
The owner of MyRvmail said the County Commissioner has no voting issue problems like St Brendan's issues I've read about.
With TD Ameritrade and Capital One, have been having issues with the address and the Patriot Act. Been using my sister's condo's address in FL where needed for the "permanent address". In these cases, all mailing, etc will still go to the myrvmail address. USAA Bank has been OK with it. Changed Social Security address on line w/o problems too.

We took your advice earlier this week.

And we are now officially Escapee members.

Thank you, everyone, for chiming in with all of your input. I love this forum.

No one bickering.
Just good ol', helpful advice.

That's because you didn't ask about tires, oil, fuel additives, or sewage tank odors. If you value what sanity you have left, don't do those things!
