What groups/clubs/associations are worth joining?

We are preparing for full timing next year and as part of our research I am looking into associations to join such as Escapees. Would love to hear about your recommendations and why it's worthwhile to be a member. Thanks!

OK, ignore this thread. Upon further review it looks like this topic has been beaten to death so I'll just mosey along.

Escapees should be the very first thing you join.

We belong to Escapees for the address part of the RV life and sometimes we will stay at their discounted parks. We also belong to Passport America for 1 night discount CG's while traveling to new destinations.

FMCA! They now include towables as members. Their roadside assistance is $69/year and towed my Smart Car over 300 miles. They also have a free benefit that saved a dear friend's life. He had several heart attacks while in Florida. FMCA arranged and paid for a medical Learjet and 2 ambulances to get him to Little Rock, AR where he got an LVAD heart pump. They also paid to have their Class A motorhome and 2 dogs returned to LR.

If you pass away while on a trip they'll send your remains home at no charge also. There are many more benefits.
