Jim Gehlen had a great thread going for those of us who put on the miles during the year. It seems to have been lost in the upgrade so I hope we can continue that thread here.

Jimmy: I've been looking for the site for a couple of days. Figured we would start another one if it didn't show up.

Leaving Tucson on the 17th for Sedona area then I'll repost when the itinerary looks more solid.

We are looking forward to stopping in while you are still in South Dakota. There is so much to see and do in the hundred-mile radius of your location there never is enough time.
Lets see one day ride to the Badlands, one day to the monument, one day to Deadwood and one day to Sturgis, than there is lunch and all those quaint watering holes. Another day in Deadwood and those watering holes and .......

The official start of our traveling for the summer starts when we leave for Nashville and the iRV2 2003 NATIONAL RALLY.

GOD BLESS OUR MEN AND WOMEN OVERSEAS...GOD BLESS AMERICA!GOD BLESS OUR ALLIES.
Let us pray for the troops and families who have given the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.

I thought it was just me who couldn't find the thread. We left the Oasis in Vegas on March 31 and spent 2 soggy weeks in Vancouver Canada. We are back at Gleniffer Lake Alberta Canada for the summer. It's nice to have a phone line in the rig again, sure beats the office modem thing. Jim, I was surprised to see your route taking you through Wyoming again

Hit the highway May 1. Stopped in Dallas for visit with son and grandaughter, had new awning installed. Spent several days in Golden, CO. Woke up last Sat AM to 6 inches of snow! Drove through snow storms to Rawlins, WY, spent the night, then on to Salt Lake City. Will be here until Sunday. Had our MotoSat installed yesterday, so far, so good.

We left Tucson two weeks ago. Stopped at the SKP park in Deming, N.M. for a couple of days and drove the pickup down to Palomas, Mexico and got new eyeglasses and some prescriptions filled.
From there we drove to Liberal, Lansas and spent 2 nights boondocking at the Mid-America Air Museum while we toured it and the Wizard of Oz Museum. Then up to North Platte, Nebraska for a night in the city park, and across Nebraska on US 30 (the old Lincoln Highway) and into Iowa. Stopped in Austin, Minnesota to tour the Spam Museum (yes, there really is one!) and on to Eau Claire, Wisconsin to visit my son a few days. From there we crossed Michigan's Upper Peninsula and are now in northern Michigan for a doctor's appointment. From here we'll be exploring the eastern states for a few weeks. If you spot our red and white MCI bus someplace, stop by and say hello!

Finally made it to Angostura State Park 10 miles south of Hot Springs, SD. Will be here as part of a workamper committment till Sept 5. Even have a phone line to the trailer and a new internet (Temporary) address. It is jgehlen@gwtc.net.

We are in Cheyenne Campground in a volunteer site and it is real peaceful and kinda nice to look at. No planes, trains or freeways.

Jim and Valerie, we are glad to hear you have safely arrived in SD.

Angela and I are looking forward to visiting while on our way to the West coast and Vancouver.

We are now once again in Okeechobee after a stay at Disney and than Memorial week on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We spent a few days at Juliean Price campground on the BRP and various WallyWorlds in the area. We just love to ride the parkway and visit friends in Banner Elk, Boone and Hickory.
I have been trying for the past year to seperate items I have been paying storage on in southeast Florida. That is our destination for Monday 6/2. The objective is to be ready for an early start to Nashville and the iRV2 rally.

I made reservations two years ago at the Milwaukee State Fair Park RV Resort for the 100th anniv. festivities for Harley-Davidson.

From Milwaukee it is on to Rapid City, SD.

We have made reservations from Nov.20,03 to Jan.22,04 in Fort Wilderness RV Resort at Reedy Creek/Lake Buena Vista, FL.
This is a great time to visit Mickey, Minnie and our favorite Tinkerbell. The lights and decorations are great for the holidays.

Did you know Tink turns 50 this year.

Jimmy: From Rapid City take Highway 79 South to Hot Springs then Highway 385 about 3 miles to the North Entrance to Angostura State Recreation area. We are in Cheyenne campground. Even have a direct telephone line. (Seperate e-mail) Will be looking for you. Mid week sites are pretty much open.

Greetings from Dease Lake, BC. We are traveling the Cassiar Highway. We have been blessed with wonderful weather. The scenery is just spectacular. Will be in Whitehorse, Yukon on Thursday, spend a week, then on to Skagway.

GOD BLESS OUR MEN AND WOMEN OVERSEAS...
Our rving consists of a 2003 AMERICAN EAGLE by Fleetwood and a Lance 820 powerd by Ford. The coach can haul the pickup and the Harley. We tow a toy trailer behind the Lance which can double as an out of the way basecamp.

Jimmy/Angela: Coffee will be cooking if you get down here. Leaving here Sept 3 for Creede, CO from Sept 10-17 then to Las Vegas (Oasis). They have kicked management in the backside and improvements (Vast) have been made. Let me know if you need a site for a day or two and Valerie will make the arrangements. (She is working in the visitor center.)
