Who full-times in Class A under 32'?

Well we sold the house, gave away most of our stuff and now are full timers in our 31' HR starting Jan this year. Some think we have lost our minds but so far we love our new life style. We do have a home base at the DW sister's where we built a pad with power, water and sewer. This give us a place when not on the road. I see most full timers have much larger mh's, but we love our Holiday Rambler 30 PDD. Like the size for smaller rv parks and state parks. Just wondering who else has taken on the ft lifestyle in a smaller mh?

28 feet, no slides It's a little tight at times, but I like it. I remodeled the interior so that it feels more like a small city apartment rather than an RV and that helps a lot to make it livable. When I looked at bigger ones I realized that the utilization of the space they did have became worse as the interiors got larger.

Full time in our Itasca Sunova 27. We came from living a year full time on our sailboat, so the rv actually feels spacious to us!

People also think I am crazy because I am close to doing it in a 27' class A.
I do think larger might be better but hoping the dog & I will make it

We drive a 26-foot Class A motorhome, and we find it's a perfect fit. We actually wanted to go smaller but were wisely discouraged from doing so full-time. We still get #vanenvy from folks small enough to truly go anywhere. At least we're not driving something massive... we had a 34-footer we closely considered but eliminated from contention simply because it was too big.

We don't full-time, but like our 29 ft. rig and agree that "Bigger Is Better" doesn't always apply (no offense to those who love their giant rigs)

Thanks for the thread. We will be doing the same in our 30B with 1 slide next year.

Couldn't imagine full-timing in a 31 foot MH. After three years, we realize the need for all 32 feet of our class A. Then again, our dog does weigh in at 95 lbs.

No dog so I guess we'll be fine.

Enjoy the adventure. So far it's been great for us. The only requirement is that you love being with your spouse and love the lifestyle.

We sold our house, moved into an apartment, and are shopping for a short class A to move in and full time in about 6 months. It is a struggle to change the mindset as we downsize! Hard to give up some stuff we use only once in awhile or we only use when entertaining. The final RV will help us pare down even more!

At first it's overwhelming, then it's strange, then it seems normal and finally it's fun and freeing. So far we are loving not having a lot of stuff and payments. Enjoy the next phase of your lives.
