100 watt factory solar charger.

Will the factory installed solar charger run the house refrigator when out all day.
As long as there is sun.
Thanks

Propane units require about 1.5 amps @12 volts (15 watts)to run the circuit board. Residential units (12 cuft) require about 1.6 amps @120 volts or 15 amps @ 13 volts (192 watts). Frigs are capacitor start and require twice the amperage for one second to start (30 amps @13 volts). A pure sine wave inverter will have about 80% efficiency.

I have heard you can use one of these to reduce the startup power required: HFE | Fairford Soft Starters

Do you have residential refrigerator? Your solar panel doesnt run anything, it simply puts electricity into the batteries, and with a 100 watt panel, you will get about 35 amp hours of charge on a good day. What do you have for a battery bank?

When it comes to answers regarding solar details are needed. Household refer doesn't say much. Big battery bank says less.
100w solar will not even come close to running my Samsung 19cf household refer.
Take a look at the Wynns video on the subject. If I recall they say the need 150 ah to power their refer all day.

RV Residential Refrigerator - How Much Power Does It Use

As another member posted above, the 100w solar panel will put in about 35 ah into the batteries. Depending on how many ah are needed to run your refer will determine how long it can run. Also, assuming you have lead acid batteries it should never be run down to less than 50% of capacity.

My guess is no. There are also phantom draws to be accounted for. 100 watts of solar is just enough to float a large battery bank.
