100's of great places to boondock

we went out looking for places around western WY. and we found 100's. if you want to boondock in western WY it's 100% free. there are two ways to get on this road that is over 80 miles long great mt. views along with rivers, streams and wildlife. from south of smoot WY turn east on forest rd 10072 and go till you find your spot. from alpine take forest rd 10138 and again follow it till you find your spot. its 80 miles down to smoot. if you have a rig over 30' I would say come in from alpine WY. road is wider and smoother for about 50 miles any camper can make it the hole way with a good driver it just get tight in some spots coming in from smoot. you can get a map of this area from the forest service in afton on hyw 89. hope this helps you enjoy your summers for this road is not passable in the winter they don't plow it and it gets 6 to 8 foot of snow.
