What do you use for the LED replacements for 1141 bulbs. It's been some time since I got bulbs and my old ones are blue.
So do I want white? and what type? smd? 9 led or more?
This will be for boondocking.. I will leave the incandescants in one half of the fixture and the other bulb I will replace with LED. not sure how many I will need. I have four fixtures in the main living area so maybe two?

I bought a 19 led 1142 or 1156 bulb from these folks to use as a reading light. the bulb is not bright enough to read with and the color is too blue for my liking.

Super Bright LEDs - Store

i replaced the 2 fluorescent lamps in the fixture over my sink with this kit (jc-18-fl-t) from jirah.
the light color is about the same as the cool white daylight fluorescents and is very bright. i have been using this light kit since dec 2010 and am very happy with this installation. we full time and this light is normally on most of the time. i will install similar kits in the 3 ceiling fixtures as the present lamps and ballasts give up the ghost.
jirah shipped my order by us mail the day after i ordered it. i recommend their service.

welcome to jclampstand.com!

Why keep any incandecents? Seems like cutting of you nose to spite what you are try to do??? Get rid of them!

I bought several sets of these little buggers in warm white and they are terrific. Fit a little tight, but once in they stay there. Hold in place with Dbl sided tape or velcro. Replaced the two incand bulbs in each fixture with just one of these.

I have all leds in my fred and got them off E-bay from Hong-Kong. Several different ones, colors. The super whites I didn't like I stuck in the basement. Kuuco was the seller with the warm white I like best and all were cheap and they all worked on arrival. Did all the ceiling lights and the basement for under 50 bucks
