While the rest of the country is suffering from triple digit temps and heat indexes, it's 91 in central Idaho right now, with 14% humidity and a nice breeze. It will go down into the 50's tonight.
About 75% of this state is public land.
Just my 2 cents worth for the day. Oh, and be sure to keep your refrigerator on the shady side. You food will stay colder and you'll use less gas.

Funny how the weather can change here in South Central Idaho.
We have had record heat over 100 every day.
one day it was 107. Last 2 years it has been the same. Go 60 miles to the north of us and it drops about 15-20 degrees.
Winters are cold below freezing most of the time. We head south.

I'm at a CG in Marsing, ID and it's been over 100 for the past three days and predicted to be in the mid 90's for a week. I thought Idaho was supposed to be cool

Come oooonnnnn winter

This is my first time in ID and it appears that there are a few "cool zones", one from Arco over to Bellevue/Hailey/Sun Valley and on over to Fairfield and the others are down by Oakley and Rogerson.
Then the I84 corridor is hot from Idaho Falls over to Boise.
BUT, I am getting this info from weather.com and I don't know how accurate it is.

And I'll take 20% humidity over 80% every time.
