Thumbs up Anyone Tried The Dollar Tree Solar Lights?

I was not sure what forum to post this in. First, my GF tried the one dollar solar lights at the Dollar Tree store. She said they worked great so I decided to try them. I bought 12 and WOW they work great! I am also going to use 2 or 3 of these while boondocking this year.

Have the copper ones all over the backyard and they work great so we bought 6 for the MH. Forgot you actually need to keep them in the sun not in the cargo bays:( got to the campsite no solar lights, they were great by the time we left on Monday so the cargo bay was well lit on the way home.

I got 3 aluminum ones from Big Lots at $1.25/ea a couple years ago. They still work! Even if they quit, you don't feel bad tossing them at such a cheap price.

There is a trip hazard on many sites in the CG where I'm parked.. I got a bunch of 'em to mark the spot for night use,, They last well, Do the job well. I have some older ones I paid 3 bucks for one of them got a new battery (They use AA cell) and now lasts all night till sun up (Much higher capacity battery)

I'm happy with the dollar store lights. May get more next time I find 'em in stock..

I went to Dollar Tree to get some more and they are sold out. Went to Walmart and found some 97 cent one's. They work very good also.

WalMart will not be undersold or so they say (Hey a 20 dollar virgin is only 19.88 there, that's a Virgin Mobile Broadband to go Top up card in case anyone thinks "SAY WHAT!")

I got a bag of the stake type, want to go back for a couple of the rocks, they work well.

My older Home Depot or Lowes unjits, ONe of them finally died (Battery life was like 10 minutes) dropped in a new AA cell and it's good as new, better in fact.

Where do you find the replacement batteries for the .99 ones? A few of mine are getting dim. They're a few years old and I'm sure the batteries they came with are wearing out.

You should just go ahead and buy new lights.
