Where are the best places to boondock in this SP. Also how much to stay in the Park. Thought we might check it out after Q. What is the weather like in March? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

The wife and I went down there last spring (April). The weather was great.

We stayed in the state park campground. I don't recall the cost but it should be listed on the park website.

There appeared to be boondocking opportunities aplenty in the area. If we had taken the motorcycles boondocking would have been the way to go.

There were several places on the road going in, and it appeared that there were numerous places to camp all around the area.

No problem. The weather was perfect by the way. Don't know how it will be this year as the weather has been kinda screwy so far.

This spot is in between Salton Sea and the State Bark boundary on a mesa with great views. We were there for a few days a couple of weeks ago.

Enjoy
Jim
