We have a portable induction cooktop we use outside as much as possible to keep cooking odors and grease inside to a minimum.

I love love love my bacon. Limit it to only 2 days per week
I nuke mine and it takes 60 secs per slice on my Nordicware tray. The grease all but drips off and then easily pour into the grease container.
Love it and comes out just the way I like it - crisp not soggy, quick and easy.

We pre cook ours for trips by cooking it in the oven. It tastes awesome and also freezes well.

I love Costco's thick sliced precooked!!! But they are too far from my home so we either make do with the paper thin stuff of I cook and freeze mine. Thanks to Rachael Ray I bake it: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Farenheit, place your bacon on a slotted broiler pan and bake until it's crisp - about 15-18 minutes

I have a daughter that lives in Phoenix...I'll pass your frozen bacon idea on to her and her husband.

About 120 there this week she said.

Not exactly an air freshener, but perhaps you need to try this: https://www.amazon.com/Yankee-Candle.../dp/B00BWA9F80 Sadly, it doesn't get very good reviews!

IMHO, this right here is the most environmentally and cost efficient way to pre-cook one's bacon....
