Bad day of hunting/fishing is better than....

We didn't even see deer but we caught a few fish and were able to use the solar/battery system that we installed this year. Great time indeed!

Actually the sun didn't shine for even a second and we would have only made it another day before we needed to turn on the vehicle to let the alternator charge the batteries. We have 440 amp hours of storage and I round down to 400 to play it safe.

Friday evening to Sunday evening consumption; 190 amp hours.
Solar panels provided only 45 amp hour

Power usage; (roughly)

16 hours of CPAP, 32 amp hours
20 hours of TV, 70 amp hours
lights, furnace, water pump, etc., 90 amp hours

If I remember right the Trimetric was at 65% when we left.

Agreed, most any day out hunting/fishing is a good day. There are just some that are better then others. Here are a couple from this years hunting camp.
