Better than Walmart overnight parking

I just spent 2 weeks in the Phoenix area. For 4 nights I was dry camping at the Good Sam Rally. The rest of the time I boondocked in parking lots. I found several new strip mall shopping centers in the western suburbs that had lovely new, huge parking lots that were basically empty because only a few of the retail spaces were leased. They were quiet all night! And no signs that prohibited overnight parking. One week night I stayed in a church parking lot.

If you were in the vendor tent Friday, I might have bumped into you, literally. What a mob scene. I scored 14 ball point pens and some other samples. Hey, they don't last long in my truck console during the summer.

Did you get a chance to Segway?

You are so right about the mob scene, and hot with all those bodies!

Sadly, I buggered up my knee and was afraid my balance would be off too much to try a Segway for the first time. I'll find another tour in a few weeks when I'm more stable.

Yeah, it was hot.

With a Segway, you just stand on it and lean right or left and forward and backwards.

With a bad knee, you just go round in circles.
